A small souvenir to remember. The statuette in Chloe's hands was a miniature copy of the lighthouse, grown by the Replicators from the seed she brought them. Massive and rough to the touch, it tingled slightly at her fingertips, and a faint glow emanated from the holes in the top.
The Replicators have no speech organs, and no one has tried to talk to them in years. We come to them for copies of things, and they get our memories, dreams, fantasies, but last time it was the other way around.
The hive city model turned out to be some sort of ark from which they were able to grow new creatures and plants of their world. In return, they handed her this statue and someone else's memory. She saw herself from the outside in a garden with intricately curved trees that exuded a faint colored glow. Her entire body was entangled in vines of plants.
