Betrayal

Her hair was disheveled from its festive style, her dress was almost off one shoulder... what had happened? Where was this girl, what did she see? What events brought her here? Where is she standing? On solid ground, or wading through a body of water? We don't know what happened, and we don't know what is happening to her now - she is standing, seeing a clearing in front of her, beyond which the forest begins again... We know nothing, and can only empathize, hoping for the best.
