This abstract is dedicated to Russian painter Boris Kustodiev.
"Merchant at tea" is one of the late works of the artist.
After the amputation of his legs Kustodiev could only write from memory and thanks to his magnificent imagination in this period the artist created the most vivid and festive paintings. In them Kustodiev displayed provincial life and the beauty of the female body.
The artist applied multiplanarity in the construction of the composition, paid great attention to detail, thanks to which his paintings look a little decorative, and sometimes theatrical!
