Pavel
Yakovlevich Pyasetsky

Russia • 1843−1919

Born in Orel, Russia. He graduated from the medical faculty of Moscow University and St. Petersburg Academy of arts (with Pavel Chistyakov). The author of numerous watercolor landscapes and twenty famous panoramas, including Moscow, Paris, London, Beijing. The most famous of them – "the Great TRANS-Siberian railway", awarded the Grand Gold medal at the world exhibition in Paris in 1900. In the same year was awarded the French Legion of honor. Rolls canvas panoramas are stored in the Hermitage. HMM is presented in Irkutsk, Chelyabinsk, Penza, etc.
