About the exhibition
In Lviv in the Franco House an exhibition of Vladimir and Lyudmila Loboda “Dei consilium". The exhibition presents portraits of figures of Ukrainian culture of the beginning and mid-twentieth century, as well as portraits of his contemporaries.

Mikhail Semenko, Evgeny Pluzhnik, Mikhail Boychuk, Alexander Archipenko, Vladimir Svidzinsky are depicted on the canvases of the authors next to Taras Shevchenko, Ivan Franko, Lesia Ukrainka and Bogdan Lepky. Artists introduce figures to Ukrainian culture that were associated with Ukraine. This is Osip Mandelstam, Ivan Bunin, Nikolay Ge, Ivan Kramskoy.

Volodymyr Loboda is a Ukrainian painter, graphic artist, sculptor and poet. One of the brightest representatives of the domestic underground of the late 1960s - early 1990s. Born July 6, 1943 in the Dnieper. The early period of the artist's work was marked by an intensive search for a form and a plastic language, where one can clearly see admiration for Ukrainian folk art, ancient cultures, modern trends in world art.

Lyudmila Loboda was born in 1945. She studied at the Dnipropetrovsk Construction Institute with a degree in engineering. In addition to painting, the artist realized herself in drawing and book illustration, weaving carpets and tapestries, making dolls. Works are kept in Lviv Art Gallery. B. Voznitsky, Voronezh Regional Museum. I. Kramskoy, as well as in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
