Exhibition Hall of the State Museum A.S. Pushkin invites to the exhibition “A.S. Pushkin and all-all-all ".

The exhibition features a large collection of drawings by Iskander Ulumbekov, which are dedicated to A.S. Pushkin, his contemporaries, historical characters who are directly related to both the greatest poet and his era.

Pushkin and many other Russian writers of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries traveled extensively, themselves or through the heroes of their works. Artist Iskander Ulumbekov decided to follow the writers, stroll through their favorite places to capture them in watercolor.

In each picture you can see the unobtrusive characters. This is Pushkin on a horse ride, and Gogol, strolling around the much-loved Rome, and the characters in the works of Krylov. Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rome, Paris - a literary or literary history, real or not, is associated with every place. The collection contains stories that no one will tell better than the writers themselves and their friends, added excerpts from memoirs, diaries and literary works, as well as historical jokes associated with the writers or heroes of their books, which took place in the places depicted in the paintings. You can find them along with the watercolor signatures.

Iskander Ulumbekov graduated from Moscow State Art Institute named after VI. Surikov faculty of painting. Engaged in easel painting, graphics, monumental art. Participant of many solo and group exhibitions in Russia, France, USA, UK, Belgium, etc. The artist's works are in collections of museums and private collections in Russia and other countries.
