This abstract is dedicated to Russian artist Yuli Klever.
He painted landscapes as a portrait of an area, with its own mood and character. Klever's landscapes are theatrical and dramatic, emphasized by light and color effects.
The artist did not strive for authenticity. His goal was to achieve the maximum expressiveness of the painting. Hence the fragmentary asymmetrical type of composition, the view as if from within, which creates the effect of involvement.
