Sosnovy Bor Art Museum of Modern Art
The Museum of Modern Art in the Leningrad Region was opened on November 1, 1991. The Art Museum of Modern Art is the only museum in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region specializing in popularizing the works of artists of the USSR, the RSFSR and the Russian Federation.
The Museum of Modern Art collaborates with various enterprises and organizations.
The museum is a center of culture, communication, aesthetic education. Lectures, meetings with artists, writers, musicians are held here.
Funds were formed from state funds of the former USSR and the RSFSR, private collections, purchases, gifts. The collection contains the works of such famous masters as O. Yakhnin, T. Yablonskaya, E. Scherbakov, A. Kharshak, V. Vetrogonsky, R. Dominov, V. Yantarev and others.
