State Museum of Fine Arts (GMII) named after A.S. Pushkin is a museum complex that has one of the largest art collections of foreign art in Russia. Today, his collection contains about 700 thousand works of different eras, from ancient Egypt and ancient Greece to the beginning of the 21st century.
The Museum's exceptional collections include the collection of French art of the 19th – 20th centuries, which is one of the most famous in the world.
The annual attendance is about 1 million people.
