Dulwich Picture Gallery

Gallery Rd, London, United Kingdom
The Dulwich Picture Gallery opened its doors in 1817. The gallery gives an idea of the tastes of art lovers in the Enlightenment. When compiling the collection, a bet was made on Dutch, Flemish and French artists of the 17th century. The museum has more than ten paintings by artists such as Rubens, Teniers, Poussin, Coyp, Vauermann. British portraitists of the 17th – 19th centuries are also well represented.
