Kovalev Sergey. Born in 1989 in Kyiv. Lives and works in Kyiv. Graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Faculty of Architecture.
The passion for culture, architecture, and the nature of Latin America directed the author to create a series of works on the city of contrasts. Prototype served by Rio de Janeiro. The first works were created during a three-week Pleiner in Rio under the influence of novels by the Brazilian writer Georgi Amado and I. Fezunenko "On both sides of the equator".
The works created during the last two years have been presented. Artistic objects are visualization of reflections on architecture, urbanism and humanity in general.
It is likely that someone or something is watching the life on the planet as we are using microscopes to look at particles, matter and organisms that the human eye can not see.
From the height of hundreds of meters above the ocean level you can see how human activity leads to constant changes on Earth. The boundaries of reservoirs and river beds are changing, the area of glaciers diminishes and desert areas are enlarged, new ones appear. And man-made objects are all developing and expanding, being in a continuous movement, creating more and more new patterns of the human web, which gradually plunge the planet.
