An exhibition of a contemporary painter, graphic artist and decorator Semyon Leonidovich Kozhin has opened at the Museum of Landscape in the city of Ples, Ivanovo Region "In search of color".
The exhibition features more than 60 paintings and sketches of Seeds Kozhin. And two works from the collection of the Plyos State State Historical-Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve will be presented to the public for the first time.
Semyon Kozhin was born in 1979 in Moscow. He studied at the Krasnopresnensk Art School, graduated from the Moscow Academic Art Lyceum. N. V. Tomsky and the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture of Ilya Glazunov (landscape workshop). The favorite genre of the painter is mood landscape with a predominance of a pronounced pattern and subtle color transitions.
The artist's paintings are kept in many Russian museums, as well as in private and corporate collections in Russia and abroad.
In addition to paintings in the creative asset of the artist - a series of graphic works on the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm "Rapunzel" and "Hansel and Gretel." A biographical book for children about the famous Italian tenor Luciano Pavarotti was also published, where Semyon Kozhin was involved in the design, his illustrations were used in many magazines, albums and books.
