Okhotny Ryad. Painting and Graphics

Gallery "Arka" for its visitors before the New Year prepared an excellent exhibition "Okhotny Ryad. Painting and Graphics ». The theme of the exposition was traditional male Russian fun: hunting, fishing and everything connected with them, in landscapes, still lifes, genre scenes, mosaics, sculpture, objects of arts and crafts.

The time range of exhibits at the exhibition is from the second half of the 19th century to the very latest works of 2017. The audience can see the work of the classics of Russian painting and famous contemporary artists in the exposition. Among them are Alexei Stepanov, Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin, Vladimir Polyakov, Nikolai Khristolyubov, Tatyana Nazarenko, Alexey Novikov, Igor Novikov, Harry Gordon, Felix Buch and many others.

Hunting and fishing - have always been one of the favorite men's classes. Spectacular hunting scenes and picturesque "captured" still lifes were and are welcome acquisitions in a personal collection and decoration of any interior. A hunting and fishing folklore - an inexhaustible theme for creativity, giving a special mood of the exposition.
