Gloria Vanderbilt: The Artful Life. Jonathan Becker: Community Service

Exhibition October 30, 2020 − January 24, 2021
Hunstville Museum of Art invites you to visit exhibitions Gloria Vanderbilt: The Artful Life and Jonathan Becker Community Service.

Viewers will be able to see two large-scale expositions. The museum presents an exclusive selection of paintings by Gloria Vanderbilt, as well as memorable photographs, personal belongings and archival documents. The second exposition is based on 45 photographs by the successful American master Jonathan Becker.

“Gloria's work has progressed in many different directions and continues to amaze. Her palette has always been bright with varieties of pickaxe, red, lavender, yellow. There is nothing sentimental in her works, even if the plots are gentle: a contented couple with two children in the background, or a mother with a child, or a woman in a hat. She painted the power of time and memory ... ”(Michael Lindsay-Hogg). Jonathan Becker is the author of the first photographs of members of the deep Amazonian jungle tribe and members of the British royal family, public figures and Hollywood celebrities, artists and heads of state.
