Denver Museum of Art is hosting an exhibition"Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera and Mexican Modernism".

Visitors will see more than 150 works by world famous artists - Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, Lola Alvarez Bravo, Gunther Herzo, Maria Izquierdo, Carlos Merida and others.

The exhibition examines in detail the role of art, artists and their supporters in the emergence of national identity and creative spirit after the end of the Mexican Revolution in 1920. Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera are often credited with being the pivotal painters of the Mexican avant-garde. Most of the works presented will be from the collection of Jacques and Natasha Guelman, who have collected an extensive collection of Mexican Art Nouveau.
