Prado National Museum hosts an exhibition“Uninvited guests. Episodes about women, ideology and the visual arts in Spain (1833-1931) ".

Spanning a chronological period from the time of Rosario Weiss (1814–1843) to the time of Helena Brockmann (1867–1946), the exhibition is divided into two sections, which, in turn, are combined into different thematic fragments.

The extensive and varied exhibition presents the work of leading artists from the Romantic era to those who worked within the avant-garde movements.
