Gauguin and the Impressionists. Masterpieces of the Ordrupgaard collection

Royal Academy of Arts, London hosts an exhibition“Gauguin and the Impressionists. Masterpieces of the Ordrupgaard collection ".

Visitors will be able to see more than 60 paintings by Paul Gauguin, Edgar Degas, Manet, Monet, Renoir, Pissarro, Morisot, Dupre, Daubigny and other "titans" of impressionism and the collection of Ordrupgaard, Denmark.

The Ordrupgaard collection outside Copenhagen contains masterpieces of 19th century Impressionist masters who transformed Western art. This exhibition is a unique opportunity to see the treasury of Impressionist works. The exhibition concludes with a series of works by Paul Gauguin, spanning his career from Brittany to Tahiti and showcasing the development of his individual color palette and simplistic forms.
