Victoria and Albert Museum organizes an exhibition"Kimono: from Kyoto to the catwalk".
The exposition will include thematically selected samples of painting, graphics, engraving, sculpture, arts and crafts and textiles.
This exhibition will present the kimono as a mesmerizing, dynamic and constantly evolving fashion icon, revealing the aesthetic and social importance of clothing from the 1660s to the present day, both in Japan and the rest of the world.
