Elena Priduvalova. Holidays and everyday life in Kiev

Exhibition 4 − October 16, 2017
The Kiev Museum of Historyisexhibition "Holidays and Everyday Life" Elena Priduvalova. The exposition is held within the framework of the project "Kyyv art school", initiated by art critic Dmitry Struk to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture.

Elena Priduvalova shows Kiev as it is, in a completely new and original manner. The artist "leaves" from the city center, drawn billions of times and before it. It depicts the outskirts with their unique color and "atmospheric", makes the heroes of their paintings the most ordinary townspeople - passers-by, who every day can be seen on the street.

The works of Priduvalova are incredibly vivid, they give a sense of presence: it is you who are standing now on this street, the bright signs on the houses are read to the holes by you, and every person shown here is already familiar to you. It is difficult not to hear the rumble of the crowd and the noise of transport, looking at these works.

"Holidays and Everyday Life" is an exhibition devoted to the powerful energy of our capital, because all her life the artist paints her native Kiev: "portraits" of his streets, roads, houses, windows and balconies, as well as the irresistible flow of happy and tired people who breathe life in a megacity, "- says the project's curator Dmitry Struk.

The exposition will be available from 4 to 16 October 2017.
