Secret garden Hansen

Exhibition September 15, 2017 − January 22, 2018
The Jacquemart-andré Museum in Parispresents the exhibition "The secret garden Hansen". The exposition will be open from 15 September 2017 to 22 January 2018.

As in the case of the Museum Jacquemart-andré (wife of Edouard Andre and Nellie Jacquemart traveled the world in search of unusual works of art), paintings Ordrupgaard were carefully chosen by a couple of admirers of painting. In just two years (1916-1918) Wilhelm and Henny Hansen had collected about 40 unique creations in the style of impressionism and post-impressionism, the second half of the XIX-beginning of XX century.

A collection of forty paintings will be shown in Paris for the first time. The organizers promise that the exposition will showcase little-known in France masterpieces of famous artists, From Corot to Cezanne and Matisse.

The changing landscapes of Monet, Pissarro and Sisley, tender portraits of Renoir, Morisot and gonzalès vivid and sensual work of Gauguin – this is not a complete list of what can affect visitors to the exhibition "Secret garden Hansen".
