Monet and Boston: A Lasting Impression

Claude Monet (1840–1926) breathed new life into the art of painting. With a bold vision and radical approach that included a bright palette and a visible brush, he proposed a new way to see and portray the world.

Boston has been a center for collecting and evaluating Monet's paintings from the late 19th century. In honor of its 150th anniversary, the museum celebrates the great treasure of its collection, providing a unique opportunity to see all 35 of Monet's paintings that are on display at the museum.

«Monet and Boston: A Lasting Impression”Emphasizes the enduring commitment of this city and this museum to the artist. Thanks to the generosity and foresight of local collectors, a retrospective of Monet's long career is constantly within the museum.
