Digital Art Center ArtplayMedia invites you to get acquainted with the new multimedia project“I am Aivazovsky”.
The project combines the familiar format of a multimedia art exhibition and a television play. The script was based on biographical facts, documents, letters and memoirs of Aivazovsky’s contemporaries. In parallel, the performance outlines key historical events that took place during the years of the artist's life.
Visitors will find an incredible immersion in the world of a great artist. Thanks to the brilliant success and replicability of Aivazovsky’s works, they turned into an expensive, but as if dead heritage. The main question that the creators of the exhibition “I am Aivazovsky” asked themselves was: what kind of person should an artist be capable of devoting all his work to one topic? What character should this person have? Perhaps the search for an answer to it will help to take a fresh look at the paintings of the famous marine painter.
