Kiev: Twilight Zone

Exhibition January 17 − February 6, 2020
Museum of the History of Kiev presents a project from its own collection "Kiev: Twilight Zone". The exposition includes paintings and drawings.

“There is no complete darkness in a city. Twilight, light of lanterns, blinking of windows, moonlight, illumination of architectural monuments - and the familiar landscape becomes artsy, and every shadow is alive. Twilight is a mood, the best atmosphere for dreams, romantic walks and philosophical thoughts, ”the organizers say.

The museum has a collection of Ukrainian art of twilight singer Grigory Svetlitsky. The exposition also includes little-known works of Anatoly Limarev, Samuel Kaplan and several other painters and graphic artists.
