L. A. Ring (1854–1933), a realist and symbolist artist, is considered one of the most significant Danish artists during the 1900s. The National Gallery of Denmark holds the largest collection of Ring's paintings and drawings in the world. The exposition demonstrates the 25 most important works that present key themes and the obvious diversity and complexity of the artist's work.
