Museum of Modern Art “Artmuz” invites to the exhibition“Seraphim Bogdanov. Tarot: the verge of realities ".
The exposition presents a series of paintings and graphic works by Serafima Bogdanova.
This exhibition is a kind of journey into the depths of the author's subconscious. The inspiration for the creation of works was the system of images and symbols of the Tarot Arcana. The artist’s characters go the way of symbolic transformations, transforming into various creatures, descended from the front of the deck of cards into different realities, where the skies of the world merge with wildlife, geometry of the spirit and space. Being archetypes of the model of human life, the artist’s characters tell about the wandering of the human soul. And passing through the plots of the Arcana, the viewer makes his own journey into the worlds of Tarot, while the wheel of his fate rotates in a single rhythm with the Universe.
