True nature: Rodin and the era of impressionism

Exhibition December 19, 2020 − April 25, 2021
Exhibition "True nature: Rodin and the era of impressionism"presents the work of one of the most famous sculptors of all time, along with wonderful paintings by his famous contemporaries.

Rodin (1840-1917) created dramatic works that are instantly recognizable and permeate our collective cultural consciousness. This exhibition includes more than 60 of his masterpieces, from marble statues of monumental size to monumental bronzes.

True Nature also explores Rodin's desire for academic recognition, even though he remained in the forefront of the avant-garde along with the Impressionists.

The exhibition also includes paintings by Claude Monet, Paul Cezanne, Edgar Degas and Pierre-Auguste Renoir, as well as drawings and sculptures of other artists of that period.
