In the halls of the Theater Gallery on Malaya Ordynka, an exhibition of Boris Messerer"Between the house of Count Arakcheev and the house of Delvig, Baron ...".

The exhibition includes paintings, watercolors, hand-drawn portraits of the northern capital, created by the artist from the mid-50s to 2019. Most of them are exhibited in Moscow for the first time.

The title of the exhibition is the works of the famous set designer, painter, graphic artist B.A. Messerer, deployed in the Gallery of the Bakhrushinsky Museum on Malaya Ordynka, sounds lines from the poem of Bulat Okudzhava. They immediately give a poetic mood corresponding to the aesthetics of the exposition. In the harmonious silence of the desert landscapes of St. Petersburg's white nights, Boris Messerer opens up new unexpected angles and rhythms in the perception of the city.
