The State Hermitage Museum and the Omsk Regional Museum of Fine Arts named after M. A. Vrubel hold an exhibition"Clutching the hilt of a sword ... Military culture and weapons traditions of the Middle East".

For the first time in Omsk, the Hermitage presents such a large-scale project - over 400 exhibits were included in the exhibition.

In addition to armaments from the Arsenal Department, in two rooms of the Hermitage-Siberia Center there are paintings, drawings, decorative and applied art, archaeological sites, medals and coins from collections of departments of the East, West European fine art, History of Russian culture, and the Museum of Imperial Porcelain factory, Archeology of Eastern Europe and Siberia, Numismatics.
