Museum and Exhibition Complex New Jerusalem Holds an Exhibition"Color. 90 masterpieces from museums of the Moscow Region ».

The project brought together iconic works from 11 Moscow museums and galleries created by the most famous Russian artists of the 18th – 20th centuries.

You can see these canvases in one space for the first time. The exhibition presents the works of Ivan Aivazovsky, David Burliuk, Victor Vasnetsov, Vasily Vereshchagin, Natalia Goncharova, Konstantin Gorbatov, Alexei and Konstantin Korovin, Philip Malyavin, Mikhail Nesterov, Vasily Polenov, Alexei Savrasov, Vasily Surikov, Ivan Ekaterin Falk, many others.

The basis for the construction of the exposition was the work of artists with color. Since the 17th century, the question of the appearance of color has occupied the minds of scientists who strove to arrange colors, defining a place for each of them. The concept of the exhibition is based on the idea of the color wheel used by artists. The main colors stand out in it: red, blue, yellow - they cannot be obtained in any way, but with their help, by mixing, you can create all kinds of colors and shades.
