On the land of the Arabs
Exhibition October 31 − November 17, 2019
In the Voronezh Regional Art Museum. I.N. Kramskoy hosts an exhibition"On the land of the Arabs", representing the work of the national artist of the RSFSR, academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Oleg Mikhailovich Savostyuk.
The presented exposition contains 103 works that reveal the theme of the author’s travels in the countries of the Middle East.
The author has traveled to 70 countries, he knows and feels the East, and this exhibition, filled with great emotionality and tremendous vitality, presents highly artistic compositions in which the master uses bold finds, open colors and original moves. The current Arab East is a combination of antiquity and ultramodernity. Luxury cars overtake caravans of camels, and high-speed military aircraft rush in the sky above mosques. Each work that conveys the beauty of the desert, the midday sun, moving caravans is a reflection of today's life and today's worldview.
