Van dyke

Exhibition October 25, 2019 − February 2, 2020
Anthony van Dyck - became famous throughout Europe for his portraits of rulers, military leaders, artists and beauties of his time.

Nevertheless, Van Dyck’s path to fame was not easy: his creative principles were shaped by the famous Peter Paul Rubens, an equally admired and almost impregnable role model. Only in Italy under the influence of the Venetian artists Titian and Tintoretto did Van Dyck find his own style.

In thisexhibitionThe results of a research project over several years are presented, in particular, it tells about the origin of the works of Van Dyck and his workshop.
