"Alonso Berruguete: First Renaissance sculptor in Spain"- one of the first major exhibitions held outside of Spain, the great sculptor working on the Iberian Peninsula in the first half of the 16th century, Alonso Berruguet.
The exhibition will feature an impressive range of more than 40 works from the entire career of the master, including examples of his earliest paintings. The focus will be on his painted wood sculptures, which are usually adorned with large altars.
