Victor Sidorenko. Time attribution
Exhibition September 25 − October 15, 2019
In Kiev, in the premises of the Karas Gallery, an exhibition of Victor Sidorenko "Time attribution". The project is dedicated to young soldiers and is based on documentary army photos. For the author, freedom is not only an internal struggle and a search for ways to self-determination, but, first of all, a difficult path through the socio-existential limitations of any system.
Victor Sidorenko was born in 1953 in Taldy-Kurgan. He graduated from the Kharkov Art and Industrial Institute. Full member (academician) and vice-president of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine since 1996. People's Artist of Ukraine since 1998. In 2001, he founded and headed the Institute of Contemporary Art Problems of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine. Lives and works in Kiev.
