Baroque in Britain
Exhibition February 5 − April 19, 2020
This is the first time that the Tate Museum has organized an exhibition dedicated to the end of the 17th century, and was the first to explore the art of baroque in Britain. "Baroque in Britain"- a chance to meet a rich, complex, but lost era of the history of art. Many of the works will be exhibited for the first time.
The exhibition will feature works by leading artists - including Peter Lely, Godfrey Kneller and James Thornhill.
