Vasily Andrushko. Mom Spheres

Ivano-Frankivsk Center for Contemporary Art hosts an exhibition of Vasily Andrushko "Mom Spheres". The exhibition presents paintings, ceramics and wooden sculptures by masters. The traditional motifs of the folk painting" Cossack Mamai "are the main leitmotif of this exhibition. The search for new meanings and forms in classical subjects became the basis of the author’s plastic language.

Vasily Andrushko was born in 1953 in Lanchine. He graduated from the Kosovo School of Applied Arts. He studied at the Faculty of Interior and Equipment of the Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1993. The author of a number of monumental works and interiors. Co-founder of the Colomian Association of Artists. Participant of many All-Ukrainian and international exhibitions in France, Poland, Lithuania, Austria, Italy. Works are in museums and private collections.
