Museum of Art of St. Petersburg of the XX-XXI centuries (MISP) presents an unprecedented exhibition project “Processes, concepts, situations”.
The exposition will bring together more than a hundred works of art: painting, sculpture, graphics, collage, 3D installations, as well as works obtained as a result of the use of digital technology and photo equipment. The project presents 38 artists from France. All of them accumulate processes that determine the development of French art of the last decade.
The exhibition, without exaggeration, is a full-fledged discovery of the young art of France to the sophisticated audience. For the first time, the work of contemporary French artists, practically unknown to the Russian audience, will be shown in volume in the museum space. All authors at various times were participants in such prestigious exhibitions as Art Basel, Art Geneve, Le Salone d'Automne, Art Capital, FIAC Contemporary Art Fair and many others. Their works are in the leading art galleries and museums of France, Israel, Italy, China, USA and Switzerland.
