University of Arizona Museum of Art: Vault Show

The University of Arizona Museum of Art collection consists of approximately 6,000 works of art that span many centuries and cultures. Exhibition "Vault show"launched in the 1970s, is a periodical exhibition that provides an opportunity to showcase exhibits from the permanent collection, identify works of art from the repository that are thematically diverse, and compare them with other objects, creating exciting new dialogues. Works in this iteration" Vault Show "depicts various themes - from landscape, spirituality to pure abstraction - but they are all related in scale and demonstrate how size can affect the experience of working with a work of art.
