Julian opie

Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery hosts a personal exhibition of a British artist Juliana opie. The exhibition mainly includes the new works of the author, the exhibition space is divided into two-dimensional and three-dimensional works. Julian Opie's style is very peculiar and is expressed in the creation of digital images with clear black outlines and a space inside filled with simple colors. His work has the features of minimalism and pop art, as well as the art of creating billboards, comics and Japanese xylographs. The master uses the widest range of materials and technologies, among which are screen printing, vinyl, liquid crystal displays, LEDs and lenses. At the same time, the artist continues to expand the boundaries of "traditional" artistic practice.

Julian Opie was born in London in 1958 and studied at the Goldsmith College of Art. He lives and works in London, actively exhibiting in the UK and other countries of the world.
