Art Museum of St. Petersburg XX-XXI centuries invites you to visit a large-scale exhibition "Life as a metaphor".
Visitors will be able to get acquainted with the works of three brilliant masters - Tatiana Nazarenko, Alexei and Igor Novikov. The exhibition features more than 150 works of art: painting, graphics, Nazarenko figure-figures, wooden sculptures of Alexey Novikov.
In her art, Tatyana Nazarenko builds her theatrically-spectacular picture of reality, in which different temporal dimensions collide, polar elements, situations get paradoxical development, and the characters are endowed with the passion of merging with the seething and rigid violence of life. The painting of Alexey Novikov is cheerful and perky, it can be traced with diversity and sonority of color, colorful bravura. Igor Novikov is repelled in his work from the primitive traditions of avant-garde culture, his paintings also reign in a festive, dreamy-romantic atmosphere.
