Me: Contemporary African Women Artists

Nearly fifty years after the graduation of the feminist hymn “I am a woman”, women still believe that their number is not sufficiently represented in politics, business and museum collections. Although this exhibition takes its name from the song of the 1970s, it emphasizes more modern feminism, which is not based on any particular narration about femininity, but explores the vital contribution of women to numerous problems, including environment, identity, politics, race, sexuality, social activity, faith and more.

Exhibition "I"crosses the boundaries of generations and all kinds of media, demonstrates the best of modern artistic practices and offers an inclusive vision of women in the arts, in relation to the compelling questions that define the times of these artists.
