Evgenia Buravleva (1980) and Yegor Plotnikov (1980) were born in the city of Kirov, graduated from the Vyatka Art School named after them. A. A. Rylov and the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V. I. Surikov (students of the legendary Pavel Nikonov).
The exposition in the Erarta Museum is not the first joint exhibition project of artists. In the presented works, the authors state the moral attitude to nature, which is endowed with spirit and consciousness.
The landscapes of Evgenia Buravleva are thoughtful and melancholic, romantic. The part of them contains the figure of an outsider - a modern contemplator, who instead of enjoying peace, only captures what he sees on the camera of a smartphone.
Egor Plotnikov offers a different look at space: he deliberately stops looking at the most trivial point of it - this we see several times a day. Concluding ordinariness in canvas, the author reflects on the value of daily existence, which, strictly speaking, makes up life.
