Shioda Chiharu. Soul elevation

Mori’s Tokyo Museum of Art presents Shiochi Chiharu’s personal exhibitionSoul elevation". The artist is known for her preformances and installations that express the intangible: memories, anxiety, dreams, silence and much more.

The themes of memory and oblivion, dreams and dreams, traces of the past and childhood are central to the work of the author. It fills rooms with installations made with threads. These compositions arose from the artist's desire to "paint in the air." The exhibition includes six large installations, sculptures, videos about performances, photographs, drawings and more.

Shioda Chiharu was born in Osaka in 1972. Since 1999 he lives in Berlin. In Germany she participated in group and solo exhibitions in Aachen, in Berlin, in New York, as well as in the Triennale of Contemporary Art in Yokohama.
