Shanghai Lisson Gallery is hosting a personal exhibition of British artist Ryan Gander "I see you are doing well". The exhibition presents sculptures and paintings created since 2016. The name of the exhibition reflects the trajectory of the development of the author. The master is known for his extensive multimedia practice, which includes painting, sculpture, installation and writing.
Ryan Gander was born in 1976 in Chester. He received a bachelor's degree in interactive art at the Manchester Metropolitan University, continued his education at the Academy. Jan van Eyck in Maastricht and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam. Lives and works between Suffolk and London. Works are kept in the collections of the Tate Gallery in London, the Museum of Modern Art in Chicago and the Museum of Modern Art in Vienna and others.
