Gallery "Portal 11" presents the exhibition project of Olga Zaremba "Communications Breakdown".
Zaremba Olga was born in the city of Dnepr in 1994. Studies at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture at the faculty of monumental painting. Her works are kept in the Museum of Ukrainian Painting in the Dnieper, as well as in private collections in Turkey, Great Britain, Ukraine, Germany and Russia.
In her artistic practice, Olga Zaremba interacts with such traditional media as painting, photography, video. The primary value in her work is the transfer of the emotional dimension of reality and its reflection. Spontaneous sketches, photos of everyday situations and emotions is the starting point for work. The environment, which is the expression of the span of life, the trace of human activity forms our worldview. Under the influence of this interaction, the artist questions the existing patterns and aesthetics of expression in order to create different visual worlds.
Now we live in a world where society and man are in an era of scientific and technological progress. In this process, the relationship of society and nature is entering the new sphere. The uncontrolled influence of technical civilization leads to serious consequences. Olga Zaremba depicts how human presence affects the natural environment, the desert of the cleared space, the stiffness of the world.
