Roman Romanishin. 3D

The art space “White World” in Kiev presents the exhibition of Roman Romanishin “3D". The exhibition includes famous etchings in which the author overcomes the limitations of two-dimensional space; complex and mysterious lefkas work inspired by the changes of the seasons; sculptures and moving objects. For the master of creativity is characterized by the depth and saturation of colors, the filling of works with symbols and signs that resonate with folk art.

“There is some special magic in the etching. The magic of creating images on the metal, followed by transfer to paper in a strange mirror way. During this action, each time you find yourself in some unexpected mental looking-glass, ”says the artist.

Roman Romanyshyn was born in 1957 in Ivano-Frankivsk. He graduated from the Lviv School of Applied and Decorative Arts and Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1987. The artist owns almost all well-known graphic techniques. One of the most famous graphs in Europe, dealing with color etching (intaglio printing). Works in the oil painting technique on canvas, as well as in the levkas technique on a wooden base.
