Babette de vale

Babette de Vale (1980) was born in Breda, the Netherlands. In 2001 she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts. Fontis in Tilburg. During her studies, she also studied in Spain at the Art Academy of Belgium in Granada. She has been living in Curaçao since 2006. Her art is everyday life, humanity and the environment. Social situations and human interactions, as well as people's faces are constant themes in her work.

She also uses her work to express her commitment to animal rights and nature. In her latest paintings, she focuses on nature as the creative power of life.
