Patrick Angus. Retrospective

The Long Beach Museum of Art presents a large-scale retrospective of the work of American artist Patrick Angus (1953 - 1992). ExtensiveExhibition paintings and works on paper allows you to deeply understand the development of Angus' creativity, opening a window into his personal life and the gay scene in New York.

In 1992, the artist died of complications associated with AIDS. Since the first presentation of his work at the Art Museum of Stuttgart, Germany, Angus's artistic achievements have attracted international attention. This review of the artist's works will be the first major museum exhibition in the United States.
