Nick Potter: Built Utopias

«Built Utopias"- an exhibition of new paintings by artist Nick Potter, created in 2018 and 2019.
Potter was born and raised in London, England, then moved to the United States in 1999. He is currently a professor at the University of California, Fresno.
“Built Utopias” is the first solo exhibition of the artist at the Fresno Art Museum. Potter is known for his ultra-realistic images of free interior spaces, modern mid-century furnishings, compositions of old social scenes, and individual architectural monoliths in surrealistic conditions.
