Moscow Gallery "Open Club" holds an exhibition “Nikolai Goloshchapov (1889-1968). Graphics. Painting".
The exhibition includes drawings, graphic and pictorial works of the author.
In the master's works, the audience first of all celebrates the delicate tone, severity and nobility of his works. Behind traditional plots lies the bewitching beauty of the harmony of color and light. The heir to the landscape tradition of the XIX century, Nikolai Goloshchapov creates, using the experience of research of the beginning of the XX century, samples of cheap popular painting, and in some of his works the influence is guessed Mikhail Larionov.
