Exhibition October 27, 2019 − January 26, 2020
Exhibition "Bodies and feelings»Includes about sixty paintings, drawings, pastels and sculptures of the artist, as well as the works of his predecessors, contemporaries and followers.

Further topics include the concept of the female body and the male gaze in the nineteenth century; impressionistic painting of figures and the influence of light on the flesh; Renoir talent as a draftsman; the relationship between Renoir’s attitude to the body and the views of contemporaries such as Gustave Courbet, Edgar Degas, and Paul Cezanne; as well as the last, still very discussed, works of Renoir - paintings and sculptures that inspired a new generation of contemporary artists.

The exhibition also presents works by Peter Paul Rubens, Eugene Delacroix, Camille Corot, Edgar Degas and other famous artists.
